About Bobby Matlock Media
The person behind the camera.
I photograph the moments that make sports unforgettable — the preparation, the pressure, the emotion, and the people behind every game.
I’m Bobby Matlock, a sports photographer based in Oklahoma City. I work with athletes, teams, schools, families, and organizations to create images that capture more than what happened. I want the photos to show what the moment felt like.

How I work
My approach is simple: be present, pay attention, and capture the moments that matter. The explosive play is important, but so are the details around it — the focus before competition, the connection between teammates, the encouragement from a coach, and the emotion after the final whistle.
I approach every session with the goal of creating images that feel authentic to the athlete, the team, and the experience. Whether I’m covering a single game, a full team day, a tournament, or an individual portrait session, I work to create photographs that tell the complete story.
